Welcome June !!….what a fantastic start to the summer we are having…

and because of all that we are baking lighter fruitier treats..where would we be without peaches?…have you seen our baked peach cake?

or strawberries?..we have them with elderflower scented custard or matched with rhubarb in a classic tart…everything showing respect to fruit in season.

We are over the moon with your response to our sourdough baking…available Fridays and Saturdays only..sandwich pans for easy cutting and foccacia flavoured with seasalt and rosemary(my favourite) or tomato, olive and chimmichurri…

Sunshine always means caesar salad to me..would you believe the recipe I use for the dressing came from an NY deli 21 years ago !!..Good things never go out of fashion..

Georgia decided that it was a good time to launch the PICNIC TOTE BAG ..a cooler bag for you to keep, filled with foccacia sarnies, Hummus with crackers, sweetie treats and cool drinks…the only bit we don’t provide is the rug !!

Father’s day is a great occasion for celebration..lots of socks but maybe something sweet as well show me a man who does not like apple tart !!

We are also thinking of the youngsters starting their exams..we wish them nothing but the best..
